UNSW Shop Order FAQs
What happens when I place my order through the UNSW Shop website?
When your order is placed it will be checked and processed by UNSW Bookshop staff.
How long will it take for my order to be shipped?
Orders are typically shipped within one business day. All ordersare sent on tracked services. When your package leaves you’ll receive an email from our courier. We dispatch daily, Monday –Friday.
What happens if I want to pick my order up in store at UNSW Bookshop?
When the order has been completed we will send you a text message to let you know that it’s ready for collection. Make sure you wait for us to contact you before coming into the bookshop. If you come too early your order may not be ready to be picked up.
Can someone else pick up my order for me?
Yes. They’ll need to let staff know whose name is on the order. ID must be shown to collect prepaid orders.
No one will be home during the day. Will the postie leave my package at my door?
No. We use a signature on delivery service to ensure your packages are securely delivered. If no one is at the delivery address to sign for the package it will be taken to your nearest Australia Post outlet and you will have to collect it from there.
If you’d like your package left at your address without a signature, we will not be able to guarantee the safety of your package and will not be able to replace lost or stolen packages. If Authority to Leave is given the package will be left at your own risk.
How long will it take my package to arrive once it’s been posted?

We use Australia Post to deliver online orders & delivery within Australia will usually take 2-7 days from dispatch date. Signature on delivery is required.

For all orders with delivery address inside UNSW Kensington campus please use postcode 2052 to receive free shipping.
- Delivery World Wide
We ship online purchases to addresses all over the world. Delivery will usually take 7-14 days from dispatch date and signature on delivery is required.
Help! I need my order ASAP and I live on the moon!
Give us a call on 02 9385 6689 as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to get your order to you in time. There are express options available (usually at an additional cost) that we can discuss, depending on your location.
